Pretty fun, to be honest.

Pressing A and D to move, but then space instead of W is just plain confusing.
My left hand wants to press W, and my right tries to press space, all the while trying to move the character left and right with A and D.

However, I've found a solution that works for me.
I control A and D with the fingers either side of my middle finger, which I hold suspended slightly above the S key.
I press space with my thumb.

I don't like the "hold space to jump further" thing.
It just makes it more awkward.

The graphics are OK. They get the job done. Could be a bit better, though.
Gameplay is fun and addictive. The rank system is fun and just adds to the replay value.
All in all; a fun game with a few simple issues. Very enjoyable if you can deal with the controls.

Nothing new, again.

Over-rated. Anyone can make a few movieclips that spin and slide.
Throw in a couple of filters and you have this flash.

A score above 3? Hardly deserves it IMO.

Nah, kinda crappy.

Nothing new.
You can find a thousand tutorials on how to make games like this.
Someone who is barely qualified at making Flashes shouldn't give advice to others.
Seriously, it's like a short sighted person explaining how to see.

You've pretty much just read a tutorial and posted the info here.
No screenshots.
No demo.
Just text, buttons, and a couple of poorly made movieclips.

Pretty good.

You've added a lot of features, which in a way might be a bad thing.
What I mean, is that it could be considered too complex.
This isn't an RTS. Don't try and make it look like one - in my opinion, mining resources doesn't work quite so well in a tower defence game.

However, I like the huge range of towers.
This game stands out from the other TD games, and a lot of hard work must have gone into it.
By the way simbrian, stop boasting and bragging about how good and useful you are please.
XD

seriously... he was a godsend of a playtester, he deserves to boast!

Good job overall.

The graphics are awesome, but the gameplay is slightly flawed.
For example, the leaping zombies and the fast ones that try and slash at you are too difficult to kill and too fast to escape in my opinion.
I wish the upgrades for damage gave you a bigger and better gun/bullets with every few points you put into it.
The NEO-Mech Suit made it impossible to kill the fast running ones that slash you, because of the charge-up time of the laser.
Anyway, the graphics made up for any small difficulties and imperfections.
5/5, 9/10, favorited.

Amazing. Possibly epic.

Fantastic graphics and intense gameplay means that this game is
EXTREMELY ADDICTIVE.
Congratulations on making a game as good as this one.

I mean, the graphics are as good as Xbox 360 standards, and if I saw this in Xbox Live Arcade I would hardly be suprised.
EXCELLENT work, guys and girls at rocksolidgames.

A++ 10/10 5/5 & Favorited.

I really don't like this game.

Glitches nearly EVERYWHERE, and poor quality collision detection. I jump near a platform and there's like an invisible wall an inch or two away.
The jokes... they were a nice touch, but nothing special.
It's not exactly hard to slap in a few jokes here and there.

Basically it's a mess in my opinion.
It would be nice if it had smooth gameplay and excellent coding like Fancy Pants Adventure, but this is just...
Ugh.

If you're new to actionscript then don't go making a platformer, or at least try to put some effort in.
Also, your age is not an excuse. 15 is most certainly old enough to make a decent game.
It all looks rushed and scribbled. Basically I think it doesn't deserve to have a score above 2.00, but whatever.
I know it's meant to be a joke, but take that away and all you have is a glitchy, poorly made little game.

Try harder on other submissions. You have some potential, so try to put your artistic talent to good use.
I'll be watching out for more stuff from you.

Excellent.

Really good graphics and fun gameplay is a winning combo, so great work.
This has managed to entertain me for ages, so a sequel would be really awesome.
Top notch.

Doesn't quite "make the grade" yet.

I agree with GDave for the most part.
I would suggest that you make the workspace bigger and the planes a lot smaller next time.
Increase the framerate, add more enemy types and weapon types, plus a boss battle or two, and you'll have a high-scoring game.

Excellent game.

This is a great shooter, and I think it's worthy of one of my long reviews beause you clearly put effort into it.
The movement is very fluid, and the sounds are perfect.
The ammo system could do with a bit of work, but if you actually bother to collect all the ammo each enemy leaves behind, and don't use up about 5 - 10 shots per enemy, then there's no problem.

Some more variety in the enemies would add to the replayability and the depth of the game.
Temporary powerups would definitely improve the gameplay experience - here are a few ideas:

One that makes your bullets bigger and do more damage.
A shield that can absorb one enemy hit before disapearing.
A powerup that makes you fire 3 bullets at a time for the cost of one.
An agility powerup.
A speed powerup.
A bomb that once you touch it, all the enemies on-screen explode.
Rate of fire powerup.
Flame-thrower powerup - shoots a stream of red bullets out in 2 directions at a very fast rate (doesn't use up any bullets though).
Temporary invincibility.
A powerup that makes all the enemies on-screen freeze for a short while.

Anyhow, a way to fix the ammo problem would be to make your craft regenerate two bullets per second or something like that.
The graphics suit the game perfectly - nice and arcade-style, but a few interesting effects thrown in there.
All in all, this is a really great game and I hope you make a sequel.

Currently trying to figure out Java.
