The graphics weren't the best, yet I found the game to be very enjoyable.

Simple very yet fun!

The music was very good, it was calming and it fitted the game.
The characters were too unbalanced though - Perry was definitely better than Joel in my opinion.
Still, the gameplay was fun, and the graphics were cool, what's not to like?

It's a massive tutorial - it has everything in it to bring you from a complete newbie into an advanced flash artist, so it's pretty much the ultimate tutorial.
All the participants did an excellent job, and I am sure this tutorial will help many many people to come.

GREAT music, great style, great levels, great menu... it's all there.
This is very good.
I love it.

And it's so sad how the people that rated low are just annoyed because they lost.
I mean, come ON!
The music is really what makes it for me, but the animation is smooth, the graphics are sweet, and 3 different levels of difficulty!
I applaud Tommy and Simon for making this game.

[Monoliths Mario World 2]

Good job there

I must say, it felt very Super Mario-ish.
It was, in short, like I was playing Super Mario on a computer (without the ability to pick up shells).
Excellent.

Really good

The graphics were nice and simple, which made them easy to look at, and the explosions were very good too. I also liked the bomb system where some enemies could only be defeated by bombs, and the little ring around the tower that you have to wait for to get full.
Basically, I have 3 words to sum this up...
Simple
Fun
Addictive
And there you have it. A brilliant game.

I'm giving this a 10/10 because I really like this type of game. I've submitted it to the casino collection.

Sound: Well, I loved the music, and the "kaching" sounds were fitting for the game.
8.6/10

Graphics: Appropriate for the simple type of game that this is.
8/10

Gameplay: A tad easy at first, but then you make a mistake and are left with hardly anything left. I enjoyed the gameplay a fair bit.
9.9/10

And a bonus for bothering to listen to what people want (higher value buttons)
and for choosing a decent song, which gives it a total score of...

10/10!

Since you are the average noob, you are the one needing to read a tutorial from a less-nooby person than yourself.
You are reffering to "noobys" as though they are not your kind. You are a "nooby". Do not talk about noobys like you are not one or that you are less-nooby than the other noobs.
I admit the flashes I have submitted are a little nooby, but now I am less-nooby than the average noob (you) so I have the right to talk about noobs like I am not one of them. You do not have this right.

Anyway, your heart was in the right place - you wanted to help people.
Yet I suggest you read some tuts yourself before you go and advise other noobs.

Also "noob" is not an offensive term to me, it merely means people that are new to flash. In some cases it can refer to morons or stupid kids, but that is not what I mean this time.
